Product details
Cork Semi-Circle Balance Block
A half-moon cork block with two faces, for stable support or wobble-driven balance work.
Flat-side-down, it's a steady elevated surface for a hand or foot in standing poses. Curved-side-down, the wobble forces the ankles, knees and hips to engage — the same contour that cradles the hand in Half Moon pose. 24 × 10 × 8.5 cm; available singly or as a pair for symmetric work.
Dense cork, solid through with no foam or coating. Wipe clean; cork is naturally moisture-resistant.
Three things make it work.
Real, dense cork
Premium cork all the way through. Holds firm under full bodyweight on either face — won't compress, crack, or degrade with daily use.
Two faces, two uses
The half-moon shape is the differentiator. Curved-side-down for instability work; flat-side-down for stable elevated support. One object, two practices.
Non-slip, naturally clean
Cork's textured surface grips floor and hand. Naturally moisture-resistant and antimicrobial — sweaty practice doesn't degrade it.
A half-moon changes balance.
Curved-side-down balance
Place the curved side on the floor and stand on the flat top. The wobble forces the deep stabilisers to engage — ankles, knees, hips work in ways they don't on a flat mat.
Flat-side-down support
Flip it. The flat base sits stable, and the curve gives elevated support for hand or foot in standing postures and seated work. Suitable for all levels.
Half-moon & standing balance
The natural fit for Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon) — the curve cradles the hand at the right tilt. Also useful in Warrior III and standing-leg-raise variations.
Stretching & mobility prop
Goes under the knee, the calf, the lumbar curve, the upper back. The half-moon contour lays into the body's natural lines without digging in.
Where it fits your day

Balance drills
A few minutes of wobble training a day builds the ankle and core stability that carries into every standing pose.

A small seat
Flat-side-down, it lifts the hips just enough to sit taller and longer without the knees complaining.

Stretch prop
Roll a tight calf or hamstring over the curve, or prop a heel on it to deepen a forward fold.

By the mat
Light enough to leave by the mat and reach for mid-practice. Cork wipes clean and doesn't hold sweat or smell.

A practice gift
Useful from the first session — a thoughtful gift for anyone building a home practice.
A closer look

Train your balance
Set it curved-side-down and stand, kneel or press a foot on the flat top — the gentle rock makes the small stabiliser muscles work. Dense cork holds firm under full bodyweight where a foam dome would squash and roll out.

Steady a standing pose
Flip it flat-side-down and the curved face becomes a stable hand or foot rest — bringing the floor closer in Half Moon or a standing forward fold. Grippy and cool, it stays put on the mat instead of sliding.

Open the back
Lay it under the upper back or the sacrum for a gentle, supported opening. The firm cork holds the shape; the rounded face spreads the pressure instead of digging in.
